Boris is an official of the Antitrust in Pharma and health services unit of the European Commission’s DG Competition since 2015. He has been a member of case teams running investigations in the pharmaceutical and medical devices markets including on pay-for-delay agreements in Cephalon case and patenting practices and disparagement in Teva-Copaxone. Before joining the European Commission, Boris practiced law with Babic & Partners Law Firm in Zagreb in Croatia for 9 years, representing clients before the Croatian Competition Agency and the competent courts in numerous antitrust and merger control proceedings. Boris graduated at the Law Faculty in Zagreb and received an LL.M. from the Central European University in cooperation with the T.M.C. Asser Instituut in the Hague.
