GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN THE ORGANIZATION OF ICC CROATIA

 

§ 1. Registration

(1) The registration is binding from the moment of receipt and acceptance by ICC Croatia.
(2) Registrations must be in writing. The client must fill out the application form with all the requested data.
(3) Registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received.

§ 2. Cancellation

(1) In case of cancellation of participation, the participant is obliged to cancel participation in writing no later than 15 days before the scheduled day of the event.
(2) If the participant cancels participation in the manner and within the period determined by paragraph 1 of this point of the General Terms and Conditions, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
(3) If the participant cancels participation after the deadline established in paragraph 1 of this point of the General Terms and Conditions, a refund of the registration fee paid according to the proforma invoice will not be possible.
(4) If the participant from paragraph 3 of this point of the General Terms and Conditions has not paid the registration fee according to the proforma invoice, the registration fee will be charged in full via the invoice issued after the event.
(5) Subject to agreement with ICC Croatia prior the event, the registration can be transferred to another person from the same legal entity without additional costs. Updated registration information will be required (by sending an e-mail to icc@hgk.hr).

§ 3. Changes to the Programme/Event Cancellation

(1) Due to the long-term planning of the event, ICC Croatia reserves the right to change the programme for organisational reasons, such as changing the date, timetable, venue, simultaneous translation services, materials, or lecturers, and cancelling the event. Participants will be notified in a timely and appropriate manner.
(2) In case of cancellation of the event, ICC Croatia will make a full refund of the registration fees paid.
(3) ICC Croatia will not be responsible for the formal and legal accuracy of any data specified in the event documentation.

§ 4. Intellectual Property Rights

(1) All rights, including those of translations, copies and/or reproductions of materials from the event or any other ICC Croatia materials, are reserved by ICC Croatia. No part of the material from the ICC Croatia event may be reproduced in any form, nor may it be processed, duplicated, distributed, or used for public reproduction without the prior consent of ICC Croatia.

§ 5. Data Protection

(1) The client accepts that ICC Croatia will store and process the participants’ data specified in the application form for accounting and records of the participants.
(2) ICC Croatia reserves the right to use data from the application form to inform other participants through a list of event participants.
(3) The participant agrees to receive information about ICC Croatia events, services, and products in writing. The participant can revoke such consent at any time by sending an e-mail to icc@hgk.hr.

§ 6. Participant’s Statement on the Disclaimer

(1) ICC Croatia reserves the right to use audio recordings, video recordings and photos taken at the event where the participant is present and to use them for informational or promotional purposes in the form of printed or online materials
