Jasminka Pecotić Kaufman

Full Professor of Law at the University of Zagreb and a Part-Time Professor at the European University Institute (EUI)

Jasminka Pecotić Kaufman is a Full Professor of Law at the University of Zagreb and a Part-Time Professor at the European University Institute (EUI). She is President of the Croatian Competition Law and Policy Association, serves on the ASCOLA Board, co-directs its South-Europe Chapter, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies. A former Jean Monnet Fellow and Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow at the EUI, her research explores the challenges of enforcing competition rules in European post-socialist countries. Her work has been published in the Antitrust Bulletin, the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement, the Review of Central and East European Law, the Review of Industrial Organization, the World Competition Law and Economics Review, and the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies. Together with Professor Nicolas Petit, she co-directs the EUI research project COMPO 1.0 – Competition System Maturity and Cartel Enforcement in Selected Widening Countries.
