Head of Department for Analysis and Assessment of Concentrations, Commission for Protection of Competition, Republic of North Macedonia
Valentina Nikolova graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the “St. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, Macedonia. She is a head of Department for Analysis and Assessment of Concentrations at the Commission for Protection of Competition of the Republic of Macedonia, state body in charge for implementation of Law on Protection of Competition.
Valentina has about 25 years of intensive working experience in the field of competition protection through direct involvement in the establishment and further development of the competition protection policy, legislative and institutional framework in accordance with the EU Acquis Communautaire and extensive experience as regular guest lecturer on Faculty of economics, Skopje Balcan Universiry, Skopje and Academy for judges and public prosecutors, Skopje on topics related to competition law. Valentina also participated as a speaker on several round tables on coopetition related national and international conferences (Tbilisi/Georgia, Tirana/Albania, Belgrade/Serbia, Vienna/Austria).
